It’s somewhat liberating to accept that you can’t do all you want. It’s also liberating to know that everything is imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. Yet, there will be days when everything feels just right - the pace, the choices, the feelings. Wishing you many of these days as you create the life you wish to live.

I don't think that slow living is just for the privileged or something that you need to quit your job for. It is a mindset that you can achieve even amongst the busyness of commuting to work five days a week. Everybody's version will look different. It seems to me that you are already living simply and gently, even if more could always be done. I love the insight into your weekends, they sound just lovely.

I think of the slow life as a process rather than a product. As you say so well, we continually work at it. And it’s the noticing that matters, not what we have gotten done. You seem to be doing that beautifully.

PS. Couldn’t help but notice the numerous coffee references! My type of slow!😊
