Such beautiful photos. Kangaroo Paw is such a novelty for me, coming from the east coast. I freaked out when I first saw them on a roadside near Paruna Sanctuary!

Oh, isn’t Paruna wonderful?! I was going to go there last weekend but we ended up at Yalgorup National Park instead.

I love that one too. I only found three that day - they are small and hard to spot.

So cool! I love the donkey orchids - they are the flashiest thing that pop up on my farm. I've many of the others you photograph too, we must be a similar bioregion. Also - micro-adventures, thanks for sharing that - brilliant reframing!

The Blue Squill is my favorite. Thank you for sharing these lovely images. I'm off on an adventure in a few days - hiking in Glacier National Park. I hope to capture the season as we turn from Summer to Fall. Thank you for the inspiration.

Microadventures… must look into that.

Beautiful photos of amazing flowers! And I think I’m with you - the milkmaid just stands out in its simple white beauty.

Thank you for sharing, Monique!

I love a micro adventure. My favourite type is going for a bike ride through with my husband & our dogs. They run alongside us, with so much joy on their faces

There’s something about the way a dog runs when it is happy. (I don’t think humans ever look happy when they run.)

Yes! I ride behind my husband who has Claire with him, I have Theo with me. I love being behind them because it means I get to see the sheer joy on both dogs faces. It sounds crazy but I’ve felt so overcome by joy at times that I’ve had tears in my eyes 😊

Gorgeous, I hope the weather is nice this weekend, I have no classes, have a new camera battery and really want to get out to the national park to see what I can see.
